H9 Talent Solutions is recruiting an Engineering Test Technician for a global manufacturer of industrial and hazardous-area products.
Joining the Design Engineering team, you’ll carry out hands-on product testing that supports new designs, verifies performance and helps engineers identify improvements. You’ll also contribute to developing the capabilities of the testing laboratory.
The role
* Prepare products, equipment and fixtures for mechanical, electrical, environmental and performance testing.
* Carry out tests to defined procedures, recording accurate and traceable results.
* Analyse findings, identify unexpected results and produce clear technical reports.

* Help improve testing processes and introduce new equipment and methods.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing, product testing or a technical laboratory environment.
* A Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering would be advantageous.
* Practical experience using test equipment and following technical documentation.
* A methodical approach to recording results, investigating issues and solving problems.
* Good communication and IT skills, with confidence preparing reports.
* A willingness to learn and develop your technical knowledge.
