Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Biased Engineering Supervisor on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a team and reporting into the Site Engineering Manager, the Engineering Supervisor will carry out planned preventative maintenance along with working on breakdown maintenance. This is a hands on Supervisory position and you will be required to diagnose electrical faults on a range of equipment associated with production and site services, as well as carry out improvements and project work.
* Supervise Electrical Technicians including Instruments and controls engineers and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with current regulations and standards
* Plan, schedule and coordinate electrical work, considering factors such as H&S, customer demand, project timelines, and resource availability
* Monitor the Work Order / Projects progress of the department and make any necessary adjustments to the schedule or work assignments as needed
* Ensure that all team members have the necessary training, resources and support to complete their tasks effectively
* Monitor the team's performance and identify any issues or areas for improvement
* Budget Management
* Attend and repair breakdowns as required
* Establish satisfactory manufacturing standards by the detailed documentation of work instructions and process maps
Essential Experience Required
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paper industry or similar process industry
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Experience leading and managing teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management skills
* Strong passion for quality excellence
