CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee the operation of our managed facilities.
The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for managing a portfolio of buildings, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed, responding to client requests, and identifying and pursuing opportunities for facility improvements and additional service offerings.
The Role
Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including but not limited to: Electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
Opportunity to grow, supervisor and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.
Hours
Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
Overtime available
Experience & Qualifications
FM knowledge required
18th Edition OR F-Gas
Apprentice trained is advantageous
Strong leadership skills
