Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimization and efficient operations? Join our clients team in Newport, Telford, as an Engineering Stores Lead and play a vital role in our engineering department. We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) on a permanent contract.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Responsibilities Include:
Manage spare parts and refurbishment, including supporting systems and ensuring COSHH compliance.
Track and report stores performance through CMMS, ensuring stock accuracy and turnover.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock counts.
Optimize engineering stock spares holding using inventory management and criticality analysis.
Enhance parts description and set up/managing engineering materials and spares on company CMMS systems such as Mainsaver and Spidex.
Monitor, recommend, and improve the minimum and maximum order points.
Actively seek to deliver cost-effective and efficient spare parts and inventory solutions.
Process and verify all purchase request information.
Oversee 5S for engineering stores and maintain visual management processes and standards.
