We Are Zenith are pround to be working with our client who are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager/Lean Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a team of engineers within a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engineering performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, delivering planned maintenance activities, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and support a team of engineers to achieve operational and engineering objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental standards
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, performance and cost control.
* Monitor engineering KPIs and provide accurate performance reporting.
* Support site projects, audits, contractor management and equipment upgrades.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within High Volume Manufacturing
* HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
* Strong Health & Safety knowledge and experience.
* Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Experience of SAP would be advantageous.
