A well-established manufacturing organisation in Renfrewshire are hiring a new Engineering Manager for their team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of up to 20 engineers and will assume responsibility for full engineering agenda for the site.
Key Duties
* Management of all maintenance and tool-setting activities
* Take ownership of health and safety, quality and maintenance values
* Manage workload and priorities of the maintenance function
* Initiate cost-saving practices
* Develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement culture within the team
* Facilitate career development and progression for team members
What you’ll need
* Engineering leadership experience
* Skilled in both mechanical and electrical engineering
* Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
