Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £55,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a commercial building in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, managing a team of engineers and technicians, The Company prides itself on providing quality service from the best team of qualified engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity.
* Work closely with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained to the highest standards.
* Manage all aspects of the engineering budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within agreed limits.
* Ensure the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs and requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
* Ensure that all engineering works are carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Requirements:
* Strong technical knowledge across a range of engineering disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.
* Demonstrable experience in a similar Engineering Manager role, ideally within a commercial building environment.
* Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
