Engineering Manager job near Newry leading the Engineering Maintenance function within this FMCG company with a remit to manage the contribution maintenance makes but also develop automation for the site and improve processes. The company shows year-on-year growth as they develop into new markets, they have invested in premises and technology and the appointment of an experienced Engineering Manager is designed to improve their offering to customers in terms of volume and product range as they bring the company further forward in their growth plans.
Your new role
You have a long serving Maintenance manager and a team of engineers managing the day-to-day function of maintenance, so you will lead the operational side, which includes budget, improvement plans, CAPEX and the further introduction of automation to the site. This is a senior role reporting directly to Operations and you will future proof the business by advancing its automation.

What you'll get in return
Experience in production maintenance to a similar level and a proven record in delivering CAPEX and automation within production, be it hands-on or planning of same
What you need to do now
Package will be £50000 - £60000 depending on your experience, bonus potential to be discussed based on agreed KPI's, holidays enhanced at 30 and pension as per government standard.
