Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team
Work closely with Business Development and Commercial teams to respond quickly and accurately to customer enquiries
Take full technical ownership of key projects, from initial concept through to delivery and ongoing support
Ensure drawings, BOMs, BOPs and documentation reach the shop floor with complete clarity and up‑to‑date revision control
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to define and maintain critical product quality characteristics
Engage with suppliers to ensure they meet project and business needs
Drive innovation across engineering and production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and new technologies
Support continuous improvement activities across the organisation
Ensure risk assessments are in place for all engineering‑led processes
Provide hands‑on technical support, gaining first‑hand understanding of processes and identifying improvements
Coach, mentor and develop engineering team members to fulfil their potential
Advocate for the business—both to prospective customers and future employees
Be a respected leader who inspires confidence and fosters a positive, collaborative environment 

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience working in either Automotive, Motorsport/F1 OR Composites
Technical, hands‑on engineering background with sound commercial awareness
Strong communication skills, approachable leadership style and a proactive mindset
Methodical problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
