Engineering Manager
FMCG | London | Days-Based
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing FMCG business with great products, long-standing customer relationships and an established brand.
We’re looking for a qualified, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, ready to take ownership of the engineering function and lead a small team.
The Role
This is a days-based position, working in a small factory with a close-knit production team. You’ll be the most senior person in the engineering function, taking responsibility for all engineering and maintenance activities.
You’ll work hands-on with a variety of machinery and equipment, leading by example while overseeing:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and engineering schedules.
* Reactive maintenance, breakdowns and fault-finding.
* Electrical and mechanical engineering activities.
* The day-to-day priorities and development of a small engineering team.
About You
This role would suit either an ambitious Engineer / Team Leader ready to take the next step into a leadership position or an experienced engineer looking to bring their knowledge and expertise into a smaller business.
You’ll be practical, hands-on and confident taking ownership, with the ability to lead by example, solve problems and keep production running smoothly.
