Multi Skilled Engineer

(Double Day Shift) – Okehampton

Mon – Fri 0600 – 1400/(Apply online only) hours plus

occasional Saturday working on Overtime (time and one half)

Flexible approach to working hours required

Role Summary:

Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is always adhered to.

Responsibilities:

* Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used.

* Carry out routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.

* Attend and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner.

* Promote and complete CI work to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Times served apprenticeship or equivalent.

* Recognised Engineering qualification.

* Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

* Experience with high-speed packaging automation and robotics.

* Flexible working attitude

* Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

* Methodical & strong attention to detail
