At Spire Alexandra Hospital, our Engineering team plays a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care. We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Estates team and help keep our hospital environment running smoothly, safely and efficiently.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and hospital infrastructure. From fault finding and testing to supporting critical building services, you'll work in a modern healthcare environment where your skills have a direct impact on patients, colleagues and visitors every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
Electrical testing, fault finding and minor installations
Supporting essential hospital systems, including electrical infrastructure, ventilation and water services
Working alongside specialist contractors and ensuring compliance with HTM guidance
Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota
Helping drive continuous improvement across the hospital estateWhat We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independentlyHealthcare experience is welcomed but not essential-full support and training will be provided.
