Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire

We’re currently looking for an electrically-biased engineer to join our Haverfordwest Creamery team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work a four-on / four-off shift pattern, working both days and nights.

The Role

As an Engineer, you will deliver maintenance services to our Haverfordwest creamery.

Supporting the efficient running of equipment, you will carry out essential maintenance on a range of automation, pumps, compressors, pipework, actuators, conveyors and other varied process equipment.

Your techniques will support our culture of continuous improvement, providing examples of best practice and high health and safety, food safety and environmental standards.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure that risks are urgently reported to a manager
- Undergo civil, electrical, mechanical and manufacturing engineering tasks
- Complete planned and unplanned maintenance work
- Carry out condition monitoring, address any changes and escalate as appropriate
- Undertake the diagnosis, fault analysis and repair of our PLC control systems

About You

To be considered as an Engineer, you will need:

- A recognised apprenticeship with electrical qualifications

An advantage would be the above in an industrial environment or food manufacturing environment.

Other organisations may call this role Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Production Maintenance Technician.
