Salary: £62,000 + 22.5% Annual Bonus + £550 Car Allowance Per Month
Location: Based from Home with travel across UK sites required

We have a new and exciting role within our growing Energy Projects Construction Team, the team that is focused on the successful delivery of energy decarbonisation ecological transformation projects

What you'll be doing;
Leading the commercial functional team within the Energy Projects Construction Team
Mentoring, managing and growing the team into a high performing team that work in partnership with our Project Managers and act as a catalyst for high commercial performance of our growing portfolio of projects
Educating the wider project teams on the key commitments, rights, risks and opportunities in our head and subcontracts
Be the subject matter expert for all construction commercial matters
Developing and continuously improving the work processes, procedures and tools used by the team
Collaborating with our Finance Team to provide high quality management reports to senior stakeholders in the business
Taking an overarching view of the portfolio of projects from a commercial perspective, identifying the most significant commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities
Working with our Development Team and central functions, providing real-time feedback to continuously improve our future tenders
What we're looking for;
Proven track record in leading a commercial team in a construction environment
Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Commercial Management
Full membership of RICS or another relevant professional institution
Thorough knowledge of forms of contract including NEC, JCT, IChemE.
Experience working for a main contractor within the building services or energy sectors
