Energy Officer

Description:

We are working with one of our Housing Provider clients based in West Yorkshire as they are looking to fill the role of Energy Officer on a temporary basis.

The Role : 

To support the Energy & Sustainability Team to regulate and monitor the energy used in the organisation
Remote monitoring of locations controlled by heating controls
To manage data and information around energy management, carbon reduction activity and energy metering and billing for portfolio of over 1,700 sites, taking ownership of queries and ensuring resolution
Owning a range of projects to support delivery of Anchor Hanover's Environmental Strategy and the wide range of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives this encompasses
Ensuring Anchor Hanover benefit from available energy efficiency
funding opportunities
Key Responsibilities

Collection, management and analysis of data and information around energy management
Acting upon enquiries arising from utility contracts, monitoring metering and billing to ensure this is accurate, and promptly and proactively responding to billing errors
Monitoring and responding to heating, hot water and boiler alarms
Leading projects around energy efficiency and sustainability
Providing technical and practical advice and training on energy efficiency and utilities
Keeping up to date with legislation, best practice and innovation
