Location: London

Job Description:

I am seeking a skilled and experienced BMS (Building Management Systems) Energy Manager to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the energy management systems within clients buildings, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Energy Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor energy consumption across our buildings using BMS software and other monitoring tools. Analyze energy data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
System Optimization: Work closely with building engineers and facility managers to optimize BMS settings and schedules to minimize energy consumption while maintaining comfort and operational requirements.
Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on energy consumption, savings, and performance metrics. Present findings to stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements.
Energy Efficiency Projects: Lead or support energy efficiency projects, including equipment upgrades, retrofits, and behavioral initiatives. Identify potential energy-saving opportunities and develop strategies for implementation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations, standards, and reporting requirements. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for BMS maintenance, upgrades, and repairs. Evaluate vendor proposals and oversee project implementation.
Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to building occupants and staff on energy conservation practices and BMS usage. Promote energy awareness and sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
Proven experience in building energy management, with specific expertise in BMS systems.
Familiarity with energy monitoring software and tools, such as BMS platforms, energy meters, and data analytics software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, technologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, LEED AP) preferred.
