We are working with an award-winning electronics manufacturer based in Plymouth, supporting them with appointing a new Energy Specialist.
Type: permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 annual + excellent benefits
Location: Plymouth
The role will involve undertaking regular energy audits and investigating ways that the business will be able to improve and reduce their energy costs & reduce their carbon footprint.
You will work in the Facilities department, collaborating directly with Facilities Engineers and Projects Manager within the department. The role will also require collaboration with senior company stakeholders.
The business can consider anyone who has experience with Energy Consumption, Energy efficiency, or a Environmental/facilities role that will have included monitoring and improving energy costs for a business.
We’re looking for candidates with abilities to analyse and estimate of energy savings and cost benefit analysis / life-cycle cost analysis. Someone with experience in maintaining mechanisms to measure environmental impact, sustainability, carbon footprint etc of the business's operations.
Qualifications/Technical Competencies:
A degree or equivalent in engineering or physical sciences.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in either similar role or technical role is desirable.
Track record of delivering sustainability initiatives into businesses.
Ability to challenge conventional methodology and deliver new ways of working in a culture of continuous improvement
