With a strong emphasis on customer value and long-term partnerships, the business continues to expand and is now seeking a motivated Energy Consultant / Sales Executive to join its Leicester office.
The Role
The Energy Consultant will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with prospective clients. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who thrives in a sales-led environment and is keen to make a tangible impact within the utilities sector.
The successful candidate will focus on lead generation, client engagement, and converting prospects into long-term customers while contributing to overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through research and outreach
* Conducting outbound sales calls and following up warm and cold leads
* Presenting utilities products and services clearly, highlighting benefits and value
* Maintaining accurate sales activity and client records within CRM systems
* Collaborating with the wider sales team to implement effective strategies
* Consistently achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to team success
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a sales role (utilities sector desirable, not essential)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
