Description:
Energy Counsel is seeking an experienced Energy Consultant/ Assessor to join our growing team.
The position will be varied and duties include:
* Liaising with clients
* Working with design teams Clients/ Architects/ Engineers to meet building compliance targets
* Producing SBEM Calculations ideally using IES
* Energy Strategy and Assessments and thermal modelling
* Energy and Sustainability statements for planning
* Overheating Analysis
* Consult on building design to comply with Part L
We are looking for:
* Thermal modelling SBEM (IES). At least 18 months experience as an LCEA in an Energy Consultant role
* Extremely well organised with keen attention to detail
* A strong client focus, positive personality and enthusiasm for the subject
* An ability to manage your own projects and timescales. This includes liaison and coordination with our wider team and maintaining strong client communications throughout
* Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-moving, high pressure environment
* Chartered status or working towards with support provided to achieve goals.
Experience in the below would be desirable:
SBEM LCEA Assessor, OCDEA, Energy Assessor, IES DSM, Sustainability Consultant, BREEAM, EPC, NDEA, Thermal Bridging, TM52, TM59, Passivhaus.
