Energy Consultant

From £23,000pa DOE

Hybrid/Kings Hill, Kent

Approximate OTE of £30,770 (Year 1) and £39,000 (Year 2)

Lumina Energy are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with sales experience and a demonstrable track record of success.

As an Energy Consultant, you will be accountable for generating new business and retaining existing customers, securing commercial energy contracts on behalf of our primarily private sector customers.

As this role is predominantly outbound calling to build and convert a pipeline of future sales opportunities with prospective customers throughout the UK, you will need to be self-motivated with tenacity to succeed in a competitive market.

Key duties

Contacting businesses to identify their energy requirements and secure energy supply contracts

Demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and tenacity with prospective customers and post-sale providing a brilliant customer experience, building and maintaining excellent relationships

Utilising CRM and demonstrating effective time management to ensure sales renewals are called in a timely fashion to maximise retention, cross-selling opportunities and referrals

Provide bespoke quotations and solutions to prospects for their energy contracts and additional energy related services.

Working with management and colleagues to continuously build your understanding of the energy market and new products to utilise within your customer communications
What we need from you

Solid experience of B2B sales

Experience of working in a KPI and target driven work environment is essential

Previous experience working within the Energy industry is desirable but not essential

A charismatic and engaging telephone manner

Confidence in pitching & closing sales
