Senior Programme Manager - REACH Compliance Programme

Hourly Rate: £40.00

Location: Lincoln, Teal Park

Duration: 6 months contract

Our client, a leading organisation in the engineering sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to lead their vital REACH Compliance Programme. This strategic initiative aims to ensure that protective coating applications used on aeroderivative gas turbines meet stringent REACH requirements. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while driving compliance and operational excellence.

Role Overview:
As the Senior Programme Manager, you will provide overall leadership and vision for the REACH Compliance Programme. Your responsibilities will include restoring programme control, ensuring effective engagement with regulatory bodies, and driving delivery across multiple workstreams to maintain business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the REACH Compliance Programme, establishing robust governance, controls, milestones, and decision-making processes.
Integrate four key programme branches: materials compliance, business continuity, regulations, and transformation, while actively managing dependencies and risks.
Drive recovery of a complex programme, fostering clarity, accountability, and confidence among stakeholders.
Oversee product modification plans to ensure they are delivered in a controlled manner, protecting customer commitments and regulatory compliance.
Engage effectively with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and professionally managed programme responses.
Provide concise and clear reporting to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and necessary decisions.
Build trust and credibility across various communities to secure commitment to programme outcomes.Experience and Capabilities:
The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in senior programme management within complex engineering, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, or highly regulated environments.
Demonstrated success in managing large portfolios or multi-workstream programmes with significant compliance and stakeholder complexity.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance programmes, with direct REACH experience being highly advantageous.
A track record of maintaining business continuity while managing product or compliance-related changes.
The ability to operate confidently at the executive level, providing robust challenge and clear recommendations.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior technical experts and operational leaders.Leadership Profile:
