We are looking for a very experienced ER Specialist to join a forward thinking organisation in West London in one of their new Employee Relations Partner roles.

To be considered you need extensive experience managing complex ER cases in a unionised environment

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage employee relations from a very proactive, impactful position.

You'll play a key role as a member of the People Business Partnering Team and the Resolution Centre, establishing, embedding, and operating the organisation's Resolution Framework.

With responsibility for handling issues and concerns raised by colleagues within the organisation, and often being the first person that a party comes in contact with when an issue is raised, you will play an important role in helping colleagues resolve conflict and set a resolution-friendly culture, based on transformative justice.

Your contribution:

Work collaboratively with the Director, Head of Service, and your colleagues to ensure that the employee journey and experience is the very best that it can be.

Contribute to the delivery of a first class, modern and inventive people business partnering service by taking a lead role in the operational delivery of our Resolution Framework.

This will involve:

Receiving requests for resolution on behalf of the Resolution Centre and triaging cases using the Resolution Index.
Recommending routes to resolution based on results of the triage assessment.
Providing guidance and expertise to parties at the early stages of resolution and leading the early resolution of complex cases where relationships have broken down.
Using transformational justice practices to clearly outline resolution options and guide parties through the process.
Recommending resources and support tools for parties going through a resolution.
Implementing early resolution approaches such as facilitated conversations, mediation, and coaching.
Coach and support managers, enabling them, to effectively manage their people by providing expert advice and consultancy in relation to performance and absence management.
You will also develop an understanding of business areas and using insight, information and intelligence, assist managers in appropriate tactical people interventions.

What we are looking for in YOU

The things about you that are most important:

You will bring significant employee relations experience and expertise in a unionised environment - this is essential
Ideally you will have experience of working with the Resolution Framework
You will have a very strong working knowledge of employment law and demonstrate you are up to date with legislation
You have experience in restorative practices and transformative justice
