Independent Financial Adviser – Kent
A growing financial planning business is seeking a qualified Financial Adviser to join its team at its office near Chatham, Kent. This is a permanent, employed opportunity offering a basic salary of £35,000–£45,000, with realistic on-target earnings of £75,000–£85,000.
Position Overview
* Location: Near Chatham, Kent
* Employment: Permanent, full-time
* Basic Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum
* OTE: £75,000–£85,000
* Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice
* Experience: Ideally suited to an adviser with 1–3 years of industry experience.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage an existing portfolio of clients, providing ongoing support while developing and expanding your own client base.
* Offer tailored independent financial advice across pensions, investment planning and protection solutions.
* Carry out regular client meetings and reviews, using face-to-face appointments, telephone consultations and video calls.
* Work closely with fellow Financial Advisers, paraplanners and administrative colleagues to deliver a high standard of service.
* Ensure all recommendations, client interactions and documentation meet FCA requirements and internal compliance standards.
* Develop new business opportunities by building professional networks, nurturing client relationships and generating referrals.
About You
You will be a Level 4 qualified Financial Adviser with a genuine commitment to providing client-focused advice. You should be confident managing client relationships, identifying financial planning needs and developing opportunities for business growth, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance
