Study Programme Employability Tutor – to start in July/August 2024 (Young Adults Employability Coach and mentor)
Bury, Lancashire
to £28.5k depending on experience plus a car - working for one of the UK's largest training and apprenticeship providers.

Our award winning client is a leading training provider who pride themselves on their commitment and passion to the learning and development of their learners. Currently we are looking for an Employability Tutor to join our clients successful Study Programme Team. The Team deliver two pre-apprenticeship programmes; Employability Skills and In-centre Traineeships in our clients Bury Centre.
Both programmes are tailored to the needs of students aged 16-18 who are not ready, or able, to directly enter an Apprenticeship, employment or other post 16 alternative. This challenging and rewarding role will suit a passionate and engaging tutor with proven experience and/or desire to work with learners between the age of 16 – 19.
We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:
* Developing session plans and schemes of work
* Keeping abreast of local influences and current affairs
* Recording student progress following each session and conducting regular reviews of students’ progress
* Carrying out one to one assessment with students to achieve the Employability Skills qualification
* Participating in any Study Programme promotional events e.g. careers conventions, parents’ evenings, job fairs, open days etc.
* The role will be based in our clients Bury centre with travel to Accrington centre when required. (flexibility is essential)
The role will include high quality training, coaching, support, planning, monitoring and formal reviewing of the learners progress..
