We have been appointed on behalf of our client which is an outstanding global organization in their field of specialism, to recruit an Emerging Talent Manager on an interim basis; however for the right and succesful candidate there may be an opportunity to became a permanent member of staff.

Job Summary
 
Operational responsibility for delivering an award-winning effective end to end Apprenticeship programme to build a future talent pipeline. Developing our pipeline and working closely with the business to provide a strategic, integrated approach. Regular interaction with senior leadership and key stakeholders to review talent requirements and ensure continuous development of our programmes.
 
Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver effective cohort management for Apprentices and T- Level Placements recruited into the Apprentice Development Programme
Represent the Apprentice Development Programme at the Global Emerging Talent Steerco, providing feedback and suggested improvements to the business aligning to strategic objectives and business planning ensuring effective governance for the Apprenticeship Programme
Design and delivery of the Apprentice onboarding experience and internal programme of development programme for Apprentices.
Design effective and innovative learning interventions which support the company’s ambition to retain its position as a best-in-class Apprentice Development Programme.
Central point of contact and guidance for Apprentices Line Managers
Provide 121 coaching Apprentices and support for relevant performance management in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
Drive engagement of Apprentice through regular business communications, guidance, coaching and extracurricular activities to enhance personal effectiveness.
Supplier management of external suppliers and training providers relevant to Apprentices. Including leading regular operational review with educational partners to ensure participant performance meets course requirements and the course content meets business needs.
Provide support and guidance in relation to ad-hoc Apprenticeships for existing colleagues.
Provide required input and support to Emerging Talent Recruitment activity.
Support delivery of wider Emerging Talent related activity and wider responsibilities of Talent and Development & Inclusion Team
Effective management and reporting on budget for Apprentices Development.
Regular reporting on progress of Apprentices to senior internal stakeholders utilising systems in place.
Support the emerging talent lead with management of the Apprenticeship Levy account.
Ensure all opportunities to claim relevant grant funding arising fro Apprentice development activity is realised and achieved.
Management of the annual awards presentation process for all cohorts of Apprentices and organisation/support delivery of end of year awards event
Management of Technical Competency Portfolio Assessment process document to include collating feedback from Assessors and working with the business to address any knowledge gaps

Understanding of the education landscape
Strong cohort leadership ability
Ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers to deliver best value and most effective solutions for the business
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong understanding of Apprenticeships in the UK and Apprenticeship Levy.
Ability to identify skills gaps and design effective solutions

Experience of knowledge of best practice in Emerging Talent Development
Knowledge of Performance Management processes
