Emergency Planning Consultant – 3 Month Contract - £350-£450 Per Day – Outside IR35 – Humberside – Transport/Logistics
Principal People are recruiting for an Emergency Planning Consultant on a 3 month contract initially to work within a large and diverse Transport and Logistics organisation.
The role is primarily home-based with occasional visits to sites if needed in Immingham, Hull, Grimsby and Goole.
You will be working closely with the Health and Safety Department and other operational teams reporting to the Head of Health and Safety.
With flexibility in the amount of days needed per week, this is a great opportunity for those looking to take on work on a part-time basis as well as on a full-time basis.
The successful Emergency Planning Consultant will be responsible for:
Review of existing emergency planning and crisis response documentation, including policies and procedures.
Development of new emergency response plans as needed or reworking existing response plans.
Aligning new emergency and crisis response plans with existing plans in other areas of the business.
Creating and presenting response plans with a clear response process or flow chart, mapping out the scenarios to allow for drills and to test against.
The successful Emergency Planning Consultant will be:
Experienced in Emergency Planning and Crisis Management within high-risk and low-risk environments.
Passionate about delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
Experienced with working closely with a wide range of different business units.
