This role requires full right to work within the UK
Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their software team.
The right candidate must have experience working within the engineering sector and have some hardware knowledge or mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities – Software Engineer
Working within the software team working on the programming of test equipment team
Programming industrial machines
Working on test equipment systems as part of a team
This role is an onsite based position and you will be required to be on site every day
Development of code to perform closer data acquisition for data analysis
Supporting the Test Equipment Manager with software used on the test equipment’s creating updates as well as modifying code
Support route cause of investigations into quality systems software
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Qualifications & Requirements – Software Engineer
Python or C++ embedded experience is essential
You must have experience working within the engineering sector
Degree or Apprentice educated in software or electronics is essential
Qualified Electronics Engineer or Technician
Minimum of two years industry experience
Machine programming experience
