Cambridge Flexible / Remote working available This company, recognizing a niche in the market for Audio/Visual products, is seeking to expand its team of Senior Software Engineers through natural organic growth.
Their flagship product boasts versatility, supporting both audio and video playback across various formats. Renowned for its exceptional reliability, the product ensures continuous playback, interfaces seamlessly with hardware, and facilitates synchronization for multiple expansive visual displays.
Proficiency in visual/audio technologies, particularly with opensource tools like mpv and ffmpeg, will provide a significant advantage. Their products operate on embedded Linux via OpenEmbedded using yocto, offering an exciting opportunity for new product development.
Key Requirements:
Expertise in C/C++ and embedded systems, with a focus on multithreaded code.
Handson experience with opensource video and audio solutions, such as mpv, ffmpeg, gstreamer, etc.
Proven track record of delivering highquality code.
