Electronic Technician
Location: Pershore, Worcestershire
Contract Duration: 5 months
Working Arrangement: Fully on-site
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Rate: £20 per hour
About the Role
We are currently seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team on a 5-month contract based in Pershore. This is a fully on-site position suited to a technician with experience in electronics assembly, PCB rework, soldering, wiring and prototype development.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of technical activities, supporting the assembly, modification, testing and development of electronic equipment and prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
PCB assembly, modification and rework
Fine-pitch and general soldering work
Supporting electronic prototyping and development
Wiring and cable assembly
Crimping and termination of cables and connectors
Following technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
Fault finding and basic diagnostic activities
Carrying out general electronic technician duties as required
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Supporting engineers and other technical teams with build and development activities
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience working as an Electronic Technician
Practical experience with PCB rework and soldering
Experience with wiring, cable assembly and crimping
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working independently in an engineering environment
