Electronics / PCB Inspector

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics / PCB Inspector to join our team in Cambridgeshire.

You will be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies throughout the production process, ensuring products meet the required quality standards, specifications and workmanship requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect PCBs and electronic assemblies to drawings, specifications and quality standards.

* Work to IPC inspection standards.

* Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of electronic components and assemblies.

* Identify defects, workmanship issues and non-conformances.

* Use inspection equipment and test tools where required.

* Review production documentation and ensure inspection records are completed accurately.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience in electronics, PCB inspection or electronic manufacturing.

* A good understanding of PCB assembly and electronic components.

* Experience inspecting solder joints and identifying PCB assembly defects.

* The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

* Experience with IPC or other relevant electronics workmanship standards would be highly advantageous
