Electronics Engineer

Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Electronics Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month basis. As Electronics Engineer you will join the RF Group and support the electronic and RF testing of some of the most exciting projects. As the Electronics Engineer you will support various tasks including testing, component level assembly and rework.

Role: Electronics Engineer
Pay: Up to £65 via Umbrella
Location: Bristol or Stevenage
Contract: 6 months (possible extension)
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: SC Clearence needed to start

Skillset/experience required:

Ideally, degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
Good communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations to internal and external customers
