Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Great Yarmouth
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent
Position 1 Recruitment are working with an innovative company based in Great Yarmouth, who are looking to for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop electrical and electronic hardware
* Prototype, test, and troubleshoot products and electronic sub-assemblies
* Carry out component-level design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and subsystem testing
* Participate in design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle
* Produce detailed Bill of Materials (BoMs) and supply chain documentation
* Validate engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Contribute to design, production, and user documentation
* Develop testing and assembly procedures for PCB assemblies
* Support product integration, system testing, and acoustic measurement trials
* Work within an ISO9001-accredited quality management system
What We’re Looking For
* HND, degree, or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience (degree-qualified) or 5 years’ experience (HND) in electronics design and embedded systems
* Strong experience in both digital and analogue design
* Solid understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, Ethernet (TCP/UDP), and RS232
* Good knowledge of DSP techniques, including filtering, mixing, and down-sampling
