An established and successful Global Company based in Chesterfield (Derbyshire) who design, manufacture and develop unique products and technology that aid the general public’s quality of life of all ages and all abilities have an exciting new role to recruit for an Electronics Design Engineer to join the new product development team and friendly business. This role would suit both a Graduate & Junior Electronics Engineer with 1-2 years industry experience.
 
Salary on offer:
The salary on offer for the successful Electronics Design Engineer is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
 
The role:
This is an exciting hands on varied role because the successful Electronics Design Engineer will join the new product development team and you will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle eclipsing R&D, through design, prototyping, manufacturing and delivery to the marketplace covering all aspects of Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design & Firmware Development.
 
Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:

Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electronics, Electrical equivalent engineering discipline
Electronics Graduate or Junior Electronics Engineer with 1-2+ years’ experience
Experience of the full product design lifecycle
Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
PCB Design & Schematic Capture including component selection
Embedded Software/Firmware coding in C, C++
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, ZigBee, WF-FI, BLE, LED
Proficient in the use of SolidWorks to create CAD designs would be beneficial
Experience of NPD (New Product Development)
Ability to read electronic schematics and use of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Practical skills – Circuit prototype testing, testing product samples debugging, fault finding
Self-motivated, team player, innovative, analytical and problem solving skillsBenefits Package:
