Description:

I'm recruiting on behalf of an engineering consultancy in Gloucester who are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to design and layout a PCB, take said board through manufacture/rework and eventually board bring-up.

The scope of the work initially is 2 months but further work may be needed.

ROLE: Electronic Design Engineer

LOCATION: Remote

START: ASAP

DURATION: 8 weeks

RATE: up to £50ph (outside IR35)

Skills required for the Electronic Design Engineer are:

* Altium for PCB layout (ideally own license)

* Access to own lab equipment (scopes, power supply, solder, rework station)

* Ethernet, I2C/SPI, I2S, USB interfacing

Benficial skills are:

* Linux (uboot/Yocto)

* Mechanical understand for enclosures (Solidworks)

The work can be done 100% remotely providing you are able to meet the client in Gloucester for 1 day at the start of the contract
