Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Duties and responsibilities:
* Developing and designing electronic circuits for various applications
* Being hands on with the design, build and test of circuits
* Building prototypes and conducting testing to validate designs
* Working closely with software engineers and other team members to ensure hardware-software integration
* Working to deadlines and schedules
Experience, qualifications, and requirements:
* Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics
* Experience with analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
* Experience with multilayer PCB Design (DipTrace, Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable
* Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable
* Experience and competence with writing firmware desirable
* Low-power design experience advantageous
* RF design experience advantageous
* Self-driven
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
