Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop innovative power electronics technologies to improve technical performance and achieve new cost benchmarks.
* Drive advancements in power electronics, focusing on assembly and construction techniques.
* Design, prototype, and test ideas using simulations and physical prototypes in an agile environment.
* Adopt new technologies and methodologies early to deliver timely solutions.
* Engage in hands-on design prototyping and debugging.
* Conduct product verification testing and ensure compliance with international standards.
* Design with considerations for EMC/ESD.
* Perform digital modeling and simulation of power electronics.
* Network with universities and UK technical institutes to leverage cutting-edge knowledge and expertise.
Competencies and Skills:
* Proven experience in working with power electronics hardware, particularly converters.
* Demonstrated track record of innovation, diverse thinking, and creative problem-solving.
* Strong curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
* Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with multi-site international teams.
* Proactive with the ability to organize work and take ownership of tasks.
* Ability to challenge the status quo and effectively communicate and sell ideas.
* Resilience and a willingness to learn from failures and try again.
* Knowledge of German is a plus but not essential.
