Our client is a leader in manufacturing bespoke commercial equipment and solutions to businesses across the UK and overseas. They are the leaders in product innovation, and design concepts through to completion all on one site.

As part of their succession planning to develop into a lead engineer role. Our client is looking for their Electromechanical Engineer to spearhead and lead electro-mechanical designs on new products and make alterations on existing product lines that are bespoke to customer requests.

Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in providing key skills and experience for the successful equipment design, specification, implementation and on-going support of all electro-mechanical elements and practices associated with the company's products.

This role would suit an electrical design engineer or electrical engineer looking to progress into a design and development role with the view to be promoted into a leadership position.

What's involved for the Electromechanical Engineer…

Experience of design and development of electronic or electromechanical products
Production of detailed and outline specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, work instructions and related documentation.
Accurate production of detailed technical reports and test analysis and conformity records.
Provision of training, briefings and presentations for staff, management and customers
Conception and realisation of defined and innovative test methods and procedures providing class leading results and products.
Interpret, apply and document relevant standards and legislation.
Application of electrical and electronic solutions.What you'll need…

Knowledge of electrical supply practices and configurations (MUST)
Design and development of electronic and electromechanical products (ADVANTAGEOUS)
Good verbal and written communication across all levels.
Knowledge of CAD, SolidWorks or similar platforms (ADVANTAGEOUS)
Ability to working well within a team
