We are hiring for an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to contribute to advanced electromechanical designs in Telford. This role supports a dynamic development team focused on innovative systems designs.
Responsibilities of an Electrical Systems Design Engineer: Join our Development Team and play a pivotal role by:
Implementing Design for Excellence methodologies and adhering to the FMEA process
Developing and executing test plans for design verification
Applying your expertise in Low Voltage Systems to support project activities
Conducting electrical network calculations for Low Voltage Systems / Enclosures up to 6300A
Utilizing CAD tools (preferably Creo 7.0) proficiently for design modeling
Participating actively in design verification testing and validating product performance
Qualifications and Experience Required: To excel as our Electrical Systems Design Engineer, you should bring:
Strong familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC 61439, IEC 62208, and British Standards
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and hands-on experience with SAP and PLM tools
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in integrating devices, designing systems, and developing sheet metal and plastic components, along with electrical busbar systems
Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills essential for effective project management
