Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester
Salary: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm
Overtime: Available when required
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading HVAC manufacturer as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring and testing to join a skilled production team.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical and electrical assembly of HVAC units
* Build and wire controls in line with electrical schematics
* Read and interpret electrical drawings
* Carry out dead and live electrical testing
* Self-inspect work and report any quality issues
* Use a range of hand and air tools
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping
About You
* Previous experience in electrical/mechanical assembly and testing
* Able to read electrical schematics
* City & Guilds or NVQ electrical qualification preferred
* 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
* Good practical skills and attention to detail
* HVAC, engineering or manufacturing experience would be advantageous
