£29,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (initial 3-month contract)
Hours: 39 hours per week (flexitime, Monday to Friday)
The Opportunity:
Service Service is recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Assembler on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer in Cambridge. This is an initial 3-month opportunity, ideal for someone with hands-on assembly experience looking to join a structured and quality-focused production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble electro-mechanical products using provided documentation and tools
* Carry out soldering and crimping of cables and PCB assemblies
* Update works order systems accurately
* Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any requirements
* Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
About You:
* Experience in electro-mechanical or electronic assembly
* Confident with soldering and cable/PCB work
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Able to follow technical instructions and documentation
* Team player with a proactive approach
