Description:

My client is a manufacturer of bespoke heat exchange units and are based in Seaham. They are looking for a qualified electrician to join their team initially on a temporary basis for 3-4 months but could be extended depending on order levels.

Main duties will include:

· Follow and understand job sheet to know what is required

· Mentor apprentices

· Build controllers

· Panel build

· Drill panels

· Wire and commission panels

· Measure cable lengths

· Wire, commission and test units

· Prep and wire electrical accessories e.g. Solenoids, stats and isolators

· Communicate with stores to find out delivery dates of essential components

Also, you will be required to carry out general electrical maintenance during machine breakdowns.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools
- Ability to use electrical and hand tools safely
- Solid understanding of electrical safety guidelines and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills

Hours of work are 2 week rotating shift pattern

Week 1: 7am – 3pm

Week 2: 3pm-11pm

Pay rate will be between £16 and £18 per hour depending on experience
