Electrician – Industrial Installations (UK & International Projects)
Base Salary: £37,000 | OTE £50,000+ (including travel and offshore uplift)
Jackson Hogg are supporting a long‑standing talent partner looking to strengthen their electrical installation team. This isn’t a static, site‑based role, it’s for electricians who want variety, project work, and the opportunity to travel, including offshore assignments.
If you’re an experienced installation electrician who’s comfortable working across different environments and enjoys seeing projects through from build to commissioning, this role offers strong earning potential and long-term stability within a specialist engineering environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning a wide range of electrical systems across multiple projects. Work will vary from workshop-based builds through to on-site installations and upgrades, both in the UK and internationally.
This role suits someone who can work autonomously, adapt quickly on different sites, and maintain high standards under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation and management of cable systems, including termination
* Panel building and switchgear assembly
* Fault finding, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
* Supporting general workshop activities with a strong focus on housekeeping standards
* Working on projects ranging from new installations to modifications and upgrades
* Travelling to project sites, including regular overnight stays and international assignments
What They’re Looking For
* Time-served electrical apprenticeship
* City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent)
* Proven background in electrical installation work (industrial/engineering environments preferred)
* Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
* Comfortable working away from home and travelling at short notice
* Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks on-site
