Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay and consistent local work as an Electrician, carrying out testing, inspections and remedial works within occupied social housing properties across Bedford. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a steady flow of work and the opportunity to increase your earnings through additional repairs.

You'll be working in tenanted domestic properties, completing around three tests per day while carrying out any associated remedial work where required. If you're looking for a reliable contract with ongoing work, this could be the perfect next step.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Testing Electrician or Inspection Electrician within social housing or similar environments.

As an Electrician, you will be:

Carrying out electrical testing and inspections within occupied social housing properties
Completing around three tests per day
Identifying faults and completing remedial works where required
Producing accurate certification and reports
Working safely and professionally within tenants' homes
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

2391 Testing and Inspection qualification
A Gold Card, or an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) alongside the 18th Edition
Previous experience working within social housing
Proven testing and inspection experience
Their own van and tools
The role is offering the following benefits:

This role is offering around £72 per test, with additional scheduled rates paid for any remedial work completed. Please note that mileage is not included.

Location & travel
This Electrician role is based in and around Bedford, covering occupied domestic social housing properties. The area is easily accessible via the A6, A421 and A428, offering straightforward travel between jobs. You'll need to provide your own van and tools for this contract.
