TAY Recruitment Limited are looking for an experienced Commercial and Industrial Electrician for a permanent position for a well respected company based in Cardiff.
Requirements:
Due to the nature of the contracts you must be prepared to work away from time to time as and when required.
Pay rate is £44,000 -£45,000 and inline with JIB rates and depending on experience, however NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation and 18th edition certification (BS7671).

Responsibilities
* Installing new electrical systems and components in accordance with safety standards and regulations
* Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of existing electrical installations
* Troubleshooting electrical faults using hand tools and power tools
* Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation
* Documenting work performed and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors
* Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time
Skills
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work
* Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Valid electrical qualification or apprenticeship completion is preferred
