Description:
We are currently looking for Electricians based in Birmingham, looking for a temportary position.
Role: Electrician
Location: B15 2G
Rate of Pay: £19 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Contract: Temp (at least 3 Months)
Job Responsibilities:
Previous experience in a similar role
Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP's, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
To maintain workshops and working environment in a clean, tidy and safe condition
Produce, if necessary, list of materials to carry out remedial repairs or alterations to current task
Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance
Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant and equipment. To deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others. To inform immediate Supervisors of any delays or difficulties encountered.
Job Requirements:
Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship with one of the below:
City & Guild 236 Part 1, 2 & 3 Parts A, B, C
City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3
City & Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 - desirable)
City & Guilds 256 Diploma
18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS (Apply online only) Amendment)
HTM- Competent Person for LV
