RGSS's client, a leading maintenance provider, are looking for a reliable, "Electrician" to join their team across Stratford upon Avon and nearby areas and the surrounding areas.

Role- Electrician
Location- Stratford upon Avon and nearby areas- Mobile role
Start- Asap
Salary- £40K base + 5% Bonus paid every march pro rata = £42,000 + Company Van and Fuel card and a Generous paying ON CALL Rota (Approx. 1 week in every 5-6 weeks) which is £100 for the week + £50 per call out.

The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join us on our responsive repairs and maintenance team. This will be covering a patch of social housing properties across Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas, therefore travel will be part of this role and a full UK driving licence is essential.

The core working hours are Monday to Friday Start at 8.00am-4:30pm

The Customer

Over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Electrician's duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Taking ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.
Carry out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision.
Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
Installation, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades to properties.
Provide excellent customer service to both tenants and clients.

What you will need

Essential criteria:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical (2356) with AM2 portfolio to support your experience (not just EAL)

This can be a combination of C&G 2360 Part 1&2 Electrotechnical Competences plus the NVQ 3 Certificate 2356 with Technical Certs L2&3 plus the NVQ 3 Certificate or just the NVQ 3 2356 certificate

C&G 18th Edition Certificate
Full UK driving license with less than 6 points and no recent driving bans
