Experienced and professional Commercial Electrician required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.

My client requires an experienced Commercial Electrician to join their facilities team, delivering on-site electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works across commercial properties in Coventry.

Location: Coventry

Pay: £32.00 per hour (Paid via CIS)

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing assignment

Commercial Electrician

Install and maintain commercial electrical lighting systems.

Install and maintain fire alarm systems.

Install new EV charging points.

Install and maintain commercial appliances, including electric cookers.

Install and modify electrical fixtures and fittings.

Conduct electrical inspections and identify any remedial works required.

Ensure all electrical works are completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

Carry out general electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works.

Work closely with the Facilities Lead to deliver effective Building Services solutions.

Complete works to a high standard while maintaining good communication with customers and site teams.

Requirements

Relevant Level 3 Electrical qualification, where possible.

18th Edition qualification essential.

2391 Inspection & Testing, where possible.

PASMA or IPAF, if possible.

Enhanced DBS required.

Previous commercial electrical experience.

Experience working on commercial lighting and electrical systems.

Experience with fire alarm systems, EV charging points and commercial appliances is beneficial.

Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider facilities team.

Candidates are expected to provide their own basic hand tools.
