Electrician
North Northamptonshire £25.78 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Ongoing Contract 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday
A leading Local Authority is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their busy repairs and maintenance team on a 3-month ongoing contract.
Working across occupied and void social housing properties, you'll carry out a range of electrical repairs, remedial works, testing and inspection, helping to maintain safe, compliant homes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out electrical repairs and remedial works across occupied and void residential properties.
· Complete testing and inspection works in line with current regulations.
· Undertake minor rewiring works within void properties where required.
· Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
· Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
· Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in every 4).
About You
· City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
· City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
· Experience working within social housing, property maintenance or a similar environment.
· Competent carrying out testing and inspection works.
· Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable (mileage paid), although a company vehicle may be available.
· Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently
