Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, covering the West Midlands patch
Salary: £37,440 per annum + 5% annual bonus + on-call payments

Our client, a well-established contractor working in partnership with a leading social housing provider, is looking to appoint 3 Electricians to join their team covering Stratford-upon-Avon and the wider West Midlands area.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical works across social housing properties within your designated patch. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while providing an excellent service to residents.

The position is Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with participation in an on-call rota approximately 1 week in every 5-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and associated works within social housing properties.
Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
Ensure all works are completed safely and to the required standards.
Complete relevant documentation and maintain accurate records of works carried out.
Liaise professionally with residents, colleagues and other trades.
Ensure company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota when required.
Deliver a high standard of customer service to residents.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification - essential.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations - essential.
2391 Inspection & Testing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
No recent driving bans.
Ability to successfully complete a Basic DBS check.
Previous experience within social housing, maintenance or a similar environment would be advantageous.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

£37,440 basic salary.
5% annual bonus, paid in March on a pro-rata basis.
£100 payment for each week you are on call.
£50 per call-out while on call.
On-call rota approximately 1 week in every 5-6 weeks.
