Take on a Gold Card Electrician role with an established construction company in North Birmingham. There are two roles available, one on kitchen and bathroom installs paid on price work, and one on repairs and remedials paid on a day rate.
The company has its own in-house electrical team doing kitchen and bathroom installations, electrical condition reporting and the remedial work that comes out of it. They're looking to add to that team and need people in soon.
The installs role is all first and second fix in kitchens and bathrooms. You'll be pulling cables and mounting boxes on first fix, then finishing the job on second fix. There's no testing and no connections at the board, so it's purely installation work.
The repairs and remedials role is the flexible one. You'll be clearing snags, making connections, testing after second fix and carrying out remedials from EICRs, so the work changes from day to day.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician on kitchens, bathrooms, snagging or EICR remedials.

As a Kitchen & Bathroom Installation Electrician, you will be:

Carrying out first and second fix electrical work in kitchens and bathrooms
Pulling cables and mounting boxes on first fix
Completing second fix installation work
Working closely with the existing electrical team
As a Repairs & Remedials Electrician, you will be:

Clearing installation snags
Completing connections and testing after second fix
Carrying out remedial works from EICRs
Picking up general electrical repairs and maintenance
I'd love to speak to any Electrician who has:

A valid Gold Card
UKATA or IATP asbestos awareness
Manual handling training
Working at height training
Kitchen and bathroom first and second fix experience for the installation role
Snagging, testing and EICR remedial experience for the remedials role
2391 or a similar inspection and testing qualification preferred for remedials but not essential

The Electrician roles are offering the following benefits:

Installation role on price work, £300 per kitchen first fix and £80 per second fix
Potential earnings of £380 or more a day, depending on work completed (not a guaranteed day rate)
Remedials role on a day rate of £220 a day
Work with an established construction company
Location & travel
Both roles are based in North Birmingham, so you'll need to be able to get there every day.
